Free Showing of E.T at Al Lopez Park in Tampa on Saturday
This Saturday there will be a free showing of the classic 1982 childrens si-fi movie “E.T.the Extra-Terrestrial” at Al Lopez Park in Tampa. “E.T.” is the story of Elliott, a lonely boy who befriends a friendly alien, dubbed “E.T.”, who is stranded on Earth. Elliott and his siblings help the alien return home while attempting to keep it hidden from their mother and the government. The movie will start at sunset around 7pm. But don’t wait till the last moment to get a seat. People will probably be arriving early to enjoy dinner and sunset at the park. So bring a pinic dinner, some chairs or blankets, and enjoy a movie with your children. Al Lopez park is also well known for two ponds that fall within the boundaries of the park. The northern pond offers some exceptional fishing.
