Today is the Guavaween Street Party and Mama Guava Stumble in Ybor City . The annual event is a major fundraiser for the Ybor City Chamber of Commerce. The family friendly Family FunFest runs from 10 am to 3pm with a parade and lots of activities including Safe Trick-or-Treat, Spooky Story Time, amusement rides, arts & crafts, entertainment, hands-on activities, pumpkin giveaway, and the ‘ever popular’ Children’s Costume Parade & Contest. Estimated attendance during the Family FunFest is 20,000. The Mama Guava Stumble with costumed revelry, with live music by national and local artists on multiple stages, begins after the Family FunFest ends at 3 p.m. on Seventh Avenue and nearby area, Ybor City. Guavaween Night of Costumed Revelry attracts a diverse crowd, on average falling within the 21-54 age bracket - estimated nighttime attendance - 80,000. Tickets prices for the Family FunFest are $5 per person with children 12 and under in costumes are free. The night party costs $15 per person.
