St. Petersburg Times Festival of Reading 25 Oct
The 16th Annual Festival of Reading takes place this Saturday at the University of South Florida at St. Petersburg. The festival starts at 10am and runs to 5pm. The festival is for adults and children. Authors will be available to sign their books and talk about their work. This is a great opportunity for budding authors! Of course, there will be vendors selling a wide range of books for all ages and tastes. Special children’s activities are also scheduled. The authors who will be in attendance includes Dennis Lehane (Mystic River), Susan Orlean (The Orchid Thief) and Jeff Shaara (Gods and Generals). The USF St. Petersburg is located in downtown St. Petersburg. Parking will cost $5 and can be found on campus and on nearby parking lots.
