Movies at MacDill AFB 24 & 25 Oct
For an inexpensive night out, stop by the MacDill AFB movie theater this weekend. Admission is $4 for patrons 12 years and older and $2 from children 5-11 years old. Snack prices are really affordable when compared to those out in town. A large popcorn and two medium soft drinks is only $10! There are 3 movies playing this weekend. On Friday at 7pm, “BABYLON A.D.” starring Vincent Cassel and Vin Diesel. This movies is rated PG-13 for intense violence & action, language and sexuality and has a run time of 99 minutes. Vin Diesel plays a mercenary charged with delivering a young woman from Russia to Canada learns that she has been manipulated by a synthetic virus and what lies inside her could doom the human race. On Saturday at 3pm, “THE HOUSE BUNNY” starring Anna Faris and Emma Stone is playing. This movie is rated PG-13 for sex-related humor, nudity and strong language and has a run time of 92 minutes. Anna Faris plays Shelley Darlington who has lived at the Playboy mansion for the last nine years. She is Hef’s favorite and acts like a den mother to the other girls. On her birthday, she is unceremoniously evicted from Hef’s pad for ‘being too old.’ Homeless and without essential skills, Shelley wanders around L.A. until she finds a new job–the housemother at the most unpopular sorority on campus. On Saturday at 7pm, the comedy movie “COLLEGE” is playing. This movie is rated R- for pervasive crude/sexual content, nudity, language, and drug/alcohol abuse and has a run time of 94 minutes. Three high school friends visit a local college campus as prospective freshman anticipating the best weekend of their lives. Once there, the rowdiest fraternity on campus decides to recruit the boys as “pledges,” subjecting to the endless humiliations in return for granting them access to the no-holes-barred college party scene. Though forced with the humiliating and disgusting antics of the fraternity brothers, the boys manage to meet sorority girls, who mistake them for college freshmen. Now at the thought of the boys getting their women, the fraternity increases the pre-frosh humiliations and blackmails the boys by threading to expose their underage status. With no choice but to fight back the three friends retaliate with a major scheme to avenge their tormentors, destroy the fraternity and win back the hearts, minds and bodies of the sorority girls.
