Summerfest in Largo 26 and 27 Apr
Springtime in the Tampa Bay area means warm but not too hot temperatures during the day and very little bugs in the evening which makes it a perfect time to have outdoor festivals and events. This weekend is no exception. On Saturday and Sunday, enjoy Summerfest in Largo and help others at the same time. Along with free concert performers, and a fun festival atmosphere, SummerFest 2008 will have a KIDS ZONE with rides and crafts to create. Saturday’s entertainment music theme is Latin. Sunday’s entertainment theme is Blues with the Neville Brothers performance as the highlist. Admission is free but you are encouraged to bring a can to donate to the RCS food bank. Saturday’s hours are noon to 10pm and Sunday hours are from noon to 9pm at Largo Central Park. This is about 30min from MacDill AFB.
