“The Water is Wide: the Art of Boat Building”
St.Petersburg’s Studio@620 is home to an exhibit celebrating the art of boat building.
The exhibit includes hand on activities for kids and live demonstrations in the studio where and an actual 15-foot boat is being built. Charley Morgan who has crewed aboard some of America’s Cup participants, and a yacht designer was brought in to produce this multi-dimensional exhibit. The exhibit also includes nautical paintings and sculptures.

Many Water is Wide events are free; for other events there is a charge. The average admission fee per person is $5.
