Enjoy the Santa Fest and Holiday Parade on 1 Dec in Ybor City
The Santa Fest takes place at Centennial Park and Ybor State Museum, in Ybor City on Saturday 1 Dec from 11am to 4pm. Centennial Park will have ice-skating, two giant snow slides make-n-take crafts and continuous holiday entertainment. Visit with Santa and enjoy holiday entertainment in the courtyard of Ybor State Museum. The Museum will have free admission. Visit with Jack Frost, a walking, talking Christmas Tree, the Geico Gecko and the Grump.
Also, Historic Streetcar rides are only 25 cents from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m on Saturday.
The Krewe of Venus Holiday Parade will start at 4pm and will have over 50 entries. The parade route is Nick Nuccio Parkway and Sixth Avenue, then heads north to Seventh Avenue, east to 19th Street, north to Ninth Avenue, west to 15th Street and north to eastbound Palm Avenue. The best viewing of the parade will be along 7th Ave between 15th and 19th St.
